Large numbers people starve themselves in an attempt to lose weight quickly, however what they often find is that the results are often slow, short lived or none at all. Reason? When you deprive your body of the much needed nutrents, your metabolism will begin to slow to compensate for the loss. The quest is to eat more of the foods that are natural. I challenge you to try and eat more foods that are unprocessed for at least 3 weeks until it becomes a habit.

Create meals that are wholesome and healthier for you. By that, I mean create meals packed with fruit, vegetables (all fruit and veg), wholegrains (rice, pasta, oatmeal) and lean sources of protein, such as chicken, turkey, lean beef, and fish. Adding essential fats, such as olive oil, nut & seed oils & fish oils to the mix is very healthy.

Creating each meal with natural ingredients will allow you to actually eat more, as these foods generally tend to contain less calories, consequently you can fill up your plate more.
Not only can you eat more each meal, but you should also be eating often through out the day. 5-6 times per day, spread 2-3 hours apart, should be the norm. The end result is more and longer lasting energy and an allaround great feeling that you cannot acheive while starving yourself.

There is one rule of thumb when you're trying to lose weight. Use it as an indicator that you're on the right track. DON'T starve yourself and allow yourself to get thirsty, if you do you will Dehydrate quickly. Be sure to drink as much water as you can comfortably handle, but Never allow yourself to become thirsty. As you become accostomed to eating 5-6 times a day and drinking plenty of liquids you will begin to feel the effects of your new eating schedule. Your metabolism is at a much higher state when you are following a regular eating routine. Remember, eat to lose weight, even if your not hungry, so as to not let your metabolism drop. Don't forget, the more natural foods you eat and the more often you eat, the higher your metabolism

Flushing your system with lots of water will help to remove the unwanted fats and toxins from you body. Drink small amounts of water at a time, sip, all day with a goal of two liters or more ingested per day. This will maintain hydration, energy and get your system thourghly flushed.
